Dynamics of Rogue Waves on a Multisoliton Background in a Vector Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation

TL;DR: In this paper, higher-order rogue waves of a vector nonlinear Schrodinger equation (Manakov system) were derived using a Darboux-dressing transformation with an asymptotic expansion method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intricate dynamics of rogue waves governed by the Sasa–Satsuma equation

TL;DR: In this article, the second-order rogue wave solutions of the Sasa-Satsuma evolution equation were presented in explicit form for three free parameter values of the family of rogue wave solution.

Dynamics of rogue waves on a multi-soliton background in a vector nonlinear Schrodinger equation

TL;DR: General higher-order rogue waves of a vector nonlinear Schrodinger equation (Manakov system) are derived using a Darboux-dressing transformation with an asymptotic expansion method and demonstrate that the structure of rogue waves in this two- component system is richer than that in a one-component system.
Journal ArticleDOI

General high-order rogue waves in the Hirota equation

TL;DR: In this article , the authors focus on the construction of Nth-order rogue waves for the Hirota equation by utilizing the bilinear method and Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) hierarchy reduction technique.
