Group 8 metal alkynyl complexes for nonlinear optics

TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear optical properties of Group 8 metal alkynyl complexes have been studied, with particular focus on results since 2003; structure-NLO property relationships have been developed, optical nonlinearities of multipolar AL complexes are described, and switching of the NLO response of molecules and molecular materials derived from Group 8 AL complexes is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Redox-Active Molecular Wires Derived from Dinuclear Ferrocenyl/Ruthenium(II) Alkynyl Complexes: Covalent Attachment to Hydrogen-Terminated Silicon Surfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, a voltammetric study of the Fe(II)/Ru(II) heterobinuclear organometallic complexes with pendant ethynyl groups has been performed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidative Dimerization of Arylalkynyl–Ruthenium Complexes

TL;DR: In this article, the binuclear cationic complexes were shown to be electron-rich by DFT studies, particularly involving the acetylide Cβ and Ph Cpara atoms and to a lesser extent the Cp carbon atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of 7,7,8,8-Tetracyanoquinodimethane with Poly-ynyl Ruthenium and Iron Complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction of tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) with Ru(C≡CC≡CH)(dppe)Cp* (5) at the outer (from Ru) C≡C triple bond gives η 1-(butadienyl)ethynyl Ru(dppeCp*)
