Journal ArticleDOI
The Kupferschiefer; an overview with an appraisal of the different types of mineralization
TL;DR: The Kupferschiefer sediments were deposited following a rapid marine transgression over an area that had been subject to a very long period of arid to semi-arid conditions as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lead isotopes of the carbonate-hosted Kabwe, Tsumeb, and Kipushi Pb-Zn-Cu sulphide deposits in relation to Pan African orogenesis in the Damaran-Lufilian fold belt of Central Africa
TL;DR: In this paper, lead isotope ratios of the Kabwe and Tsumeb massive sulphide deposits were measured and found to be homogeneous and characteristic of upper crustal source rocks.
Journal ArticleDOI
The distribution of rare earth and minor elements in manganese nodules and sediments from the equatorial and S.W. Pacific
TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed manganese nodules and 17 associated sediments from the equatorial and S.W. Pacific regions of the world and found that the rare earth elements (REE) abundance in the nodules was higher in equatorial nodules than in their associated equatorial Pacific sediments.
BookDOI
Geology and metallogeny of copper deposits
Günther Friedrich,Alexandr D. Genkin,Anthony J. Naldrett,John D. Ridge,Richard H. Sillitoe,Frank M. Vokes +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of metamorphism in the formation of Nickel-Copper Sulfide Deposits with special reference to the Kambalda Dome is discussed.
