Fundamentals, processes and applications of high-permittivity polymer–matrix composites
Zhi-Min Dang,Zhi-Min Dang,Zhi-Min Dang,Jinkai Yuan,Jun-Wei Zha,Tao Zhou,Shengtao Li,Guo-Hua Hu,Guo-Hua Hu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on the important role and challenges of high-k polymer-matrix composites (PMC) in new technologies and discuss potential applications of highk PMC.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new process of fabricating electrically conducting nylon 6/graphite nanocomposites via intercalation polymerization
TL;DR: In this paper, a new process was developed to fabricate electrically conducting nylon 6/graphite nanocomposites via intercalation polymerization of ϵ-caprolactam in the presence of expanded graphite.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved dielectric properties of nanocomposites based on poly(vinylidene fluoride) and poly(vinyl alcohol)-functionalized graphene.
TL;DR: Higher dielectric constant and lower loss factor were simultaneously achieved in rGO-PVA/PVDF nanocomposites at a frequency range lower than 1 × 10³ Hz, which provides a potential design strategy based on graphene interface engineering, which would lead to higher-performance flexible dielectrics materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Foaming of polypropylene with supercritical carbon dioxide
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of saturation time, foaming temperature, saturation pressure and depressurization rate on the foam structure and volume expansion ratio were investigated, and a likely foaming zone delimited by the upper and lower limits for foam temperature and saturation pressure was determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dielectric properties of reduced graphene oxide/polypropylene composites with ultralow percolation threshold
TL;DR: In this article, the preparation and dielectric properties of reduced graphene oxide/polypropylene (rGO/PP) composites with an ultralow percolation threshold as low as 0.033 vol%.
