TL;DR: The template assisted solvent relief (TASR) process was applied to prepare aligned tin disulfide nanotubes, using SnCl4 and thiourea as the raw materials at 140°C for 15h in an alcohol solution as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The template-assisted solvent-relief (TASR) process was applied to prepare aligned tin disulfide nanotubes, using SnCl4 and thiourea as the raw materials at 140 °C for 15 h in an alcohol solution. The product was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The XRD pattern showed that the sample was hexagonal-phase SnS2 with a preferred orientation. The TEM observations indicate that the as-synthesized SnS2 nanotubes that were produced were of high quality and uniform size.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a large-scale synthesis of Sb 2 E 3 (E=S, Se) nanowires via a rapid ethylenediamine-assisted polyol route was reported.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a monodispersed semiconducting SnTe nanocrystallites was successfully prepared via a solution synthesis route at room temperature. But it was found that solvent (ethylenediamine), reductant (KBH4), and tin source (liquid SnCl4) were crucial factors in preparation of the titled nanocrystals.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a rapid ethylenediamine-assisted polyol (ENAP) process has been proposed to synthesize SnSe nanowires with high aspect ratio for the first time.
Abstract: A rapid ethylenediamine-assisted polyol (ENAP) process has been proposed to synthesize SnSe nanowires with high aspect ratio for the first time.
