The Role of Mycorrhizae in the Interactions of Phosphorus with Zinc, Copper, and Other Elements1
Journal ArticleDOI
Adaptation of vesicular‐arbuscular mycorrhizae to edaphic factors*
D.H. Lambert,H. Cole,D. E. Baker +2 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that indigenous strains of mycorrhizal fungi may possess an adaptation to edaphic factors and that the performance and persistence of strains otherwise more efficient in nutrient uptake may be limited by their lack of adaptation.
The role of mycorrhizae in the interactions of phosphorus with zinc, copper, and other elements [Soybeans, maize].

Variation in the Response of Alfalfa Clones and Cultivars to Mycorrhizae and Phosphorus1
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of boron in plant response to mycorrhizal infection.
TL;DR: Alfalfa and Morrison soil in which B deficiency had been intensified by the addition of 100 ppm nitrogen as NH4NO3, inadequate B reduced the shoot dry weight of mycorrhizal plants 71%vs a reduction of 35% for nonmycorrhiza plants, and Root colonization and foliar phosphorus concentrations were not significantly affected by B deficiency.
