A numerical method for solving the nonlinear equations of Emden-Fowler models

This article aims to investigate the formation of entropy and its effects on Ellis nanofluid flow through a horizontally porous stretching cylinder. To manage the heat transfer rate the magnetic field, non-linear thermal radiations, and joule heating have all been explored. On Ellis nanofluid motion, the importance of nanofluid parameters, Brownian, and thermophoresis diffusions is investigated. The fundamental equations are transformed into a nonlinear system of ODEs by using suitable similarity transformations and numerically resolved by Matlab technique bcp4c. Graphs are used to study the impact of key parameters of velocity, Bejan number, temperature, entropy production, and concentration profiles. We also use tables to assess the impact of various characteristics on skin friction, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number.

A novel magneto-photo-elasto-thermodiffusion electrons-holes model of excited semiconductor

This article introduces mathematical, theoretical physics model when the interaction between the electrons and holes for the semiconductor medium is investigated. The model is studied in the generalized elasto-thermodiffusion (ETD) theory with the initial stress impact during the photothermal (PT) excitation. The governing equations give a detailed account of a one-dimensional (1D) thermoelastic (TD) and electronic(ED) deformation. The basic equations are obtained for the elastic medium without dispersion in a non-dimensional case. The hole charge carrier, displacement, thermal and plasma waves are coupled due to photo-thermal excitation. The Laplace transform method has been applied to solve the coupled principle governing equations. The boundary conditions are applied according to ramp-type heating to obtain the principle fields analytically in Laplace domain. Laplace transform inversion is used numerically to obtain the complete solutions in time domain for the basic fields. The effects of relaxation times according to the photo-thermoelasticity theories and the impact of initial stress are obtained graphically (2D and 3D plots) and discussed with comparing between silicon and germanium semiconductor materials. 

Photo–elasto–thermodiffusion waves of semiconductor with ramp-type heating for electrons–holes-coupled model with initial stress

A novel model in photo-thermoelasticity theory is investigated in the paper understudy. The model is obtained theoretically for a semiconductor elastic medium, which is in a rotation case. The interaction between main physical quantities during photothermal transport process is expressed in the governing equations. In addition, the numerical-refined multi-phase-lags relaxation times (thermal memories) are studied in the context of the heat equation when the medium is exposed to an external magnetic field. Moreover, the harmonic wave method in two-dimensional (2D) is introduced during the coupling processes between multi-waves. As such, the complete exact solutions of the main physical fields of semi-infinite semiconductor medium are obtained. Some plasma, mechanical and thermal forces are applied at the outer surface of the elastic medium to determine the unknown parameters. Many comparisons are displayed graphically when the physical constants of silicon (Si) material are used. Theoretical results are discussed under the impact of magnetic field and rotation field.
