Journal ArticleDOI

Oriented Schwann cell growth on micropatterned biodegradable polymer substrates.

TL;DR: The microgrooves were found to cause the Schwann cells to align along the direction of the grooves, which influenced Schwann cell alignment the most, while groove depth did not seem to play a significant role.

Flexible panel display having thin film transistors driving polymer light-emitting diodes

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonplanar electronic light-emitting display has a display area divided into a matrix of pixels, and each pixel includes two primary elements, an electronic driver and a lightemitting diode based on a light emitting polymer.

Method and system for detecting material using piezoelectric resonators

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for detecting material bound on a surface of a piezoelectric resonator is presented, where a multiple-port sensing device is provided which includes thin-film sensing and reference resonators monolithically formed on a substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancement of the superconducting transition temperature near a phase instability in NaxWO3

TL;DR: The superconducting transition temperature of tetragonal I sodium tungsten bronze (NaxWO3) has been found to increase rapidly as the x-value is decreased to the metal-semiconductor phase transition as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical Resistivity of Cubic Sodium Tungsten Bronze

TL;DR: In this article, the electrical resistivities of NaxWO3 have been measured as a function of sodium concentration from x=0.48 to x= 0.88 and temperature from T=4°K to T=873°K.
