miR-216b suppresses tumor growth and invasion by targeting KRAS in nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Min Deng,Hailin Tang,Hailin Tang,Yanhong Zhou,Ming Zhou,Wei Xiong,Ying Zheng,Qiurong Ye,Xi Zeng,Xi Zeng,Qianjin Liao,Qianjin Liao,Xiaofang Guo,Xiaoling Li,Jian Ma,Guiyuan Li +15 more
TL;DR: The present study found that miR-216b was downregulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) cell lines and specimens and demonstrated that it can bind to the 3′ untranslated region (UTR) of KRAS and inhibit expression of the KRAS protein.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circulating miR-17, miR-20a, miR-29c, and miR-223 Combined as Non-Invasive Biomarkers in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
Xi Zeng,Juanjuan Xiang,Minghua Wu,Wei Xiong,Hailin Tang,Hailin Tang,Min Deng,Min Deng,Xiayu Li,Qianjin Liao,Qianjin Liao,Bo Su,Bo Su,Zhaohui Luo,Yanhong Zhou,Ming Zhou,Zhaoyang Zeng,Xiaoling Li,Shourong Shen,Cijun Shuai,Guiyuan Li,Jiasheng Fang,Shuping Peng +22 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the serum miRNAs-based biomarker model become a novel tool for NPC detection and the circulating 4-miRNA-based method may provide a novel strategy for NPC diagnosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
MiR-185 Targets the DNA Methyltransferases 1 and Regulates Global DNA Methylation in human glioma
Zuping Zhang,Hailin Tang,Hailin Tang,Zeyou Wang,Baoxin Zhang,Wei Liu,Hongmei Lu,Lan Xiao,Xiaoping Liu,Rong Wang,Xiaoling Li,Minghua Wu,Guiyuan Li +12 more
TL;DR: To determine how DNA methylation is modified in the genome of primary glioma, Methyl-DNA immunoprecipitation and Nimblegen CpG promoter microarrays were used and may provide new insights into the epigenetic pathogenesis of human gliomas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interaction of hsa-miR-381 and glioma suppressor LRRC4 is involved in glioma growth.
Hailin Tang,Xiaoping Liu,Zeyou Wang,Xiaoling She,Xi Zeng,Xi Zeng,Min Deng,Min Deng,Qianjin Liao,Qianjin Liao,Xiaofang Guo,Rong Wang,Xiaoling Li,Fang Zeng,Minghua Wu,Guiyuan Li +15 more
TL;DR: By regulating LRRC4, hsa-miR-381 increased the in vitro and in vivo proliferation of glioma cells, and this action was associated with decreased inhibition of MEK/ERK and AKT signaling.
Journal ArticleDOI
The microRNA-processing enzymes: Drosha and Dicer can predict prognosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Xiaofang Guo,Xiaofang Guo,Qianjin Liao,Qianjin Liao,Pan Chen,Xiayu Li,Wei Xiong,Jian Ma,Xiaoling Li,Zhaohui Luo,Hailin Tang,Hailin Tang,Min Deng,Min Deng,Yin Zheng,Rong Wang,Wenling Zhang,Guiyuan Li +17 more
TL;DR: The expression profiles of the two most important enzymes of the miRNA machinery, Drosha and Dicer, which were closely correlated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and patient survival were investigated to hypothesise that the expression levels of Dicer and Drosha could be used as potential prognostic biomarkers for NPC.
