Health literacy among adults: a study from Turkey

TL;DR: Reading and vocabulary skills were better than numerical capabilities in the levels of health literacy and female, primary school educated and poor economic condition participants and those who were older had the lowest scores in both tests.
Journal Article

Blood-flow volume quantification in internal carotid and vertebral arteries: comparison of 3 different ultrasound techniques with phase-contrast MR imaging.

TL;DR: Flow volumes obtained with BFI showed the highest correlation with MR phase-contrast imaging among 3 different sonography techniques, suggesting that B-flow sonography may be a very effective and cost-efficient alternative for MRphase contrast studies for the calculation of cerebral BFV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incidence of accessory ossicles and sesamoid bones in the feet: a radiographic study of the Turkish subjects.

TL;DR: The aim was to document a detailed investigation on the accessory ossicles and sesamoid bones of Turkish subjects in both the feet according to the sex, frequency and division of the bones, coexistence and bilaterality by radiography.

ORIGINAL RESEARCH Blood-Flow Volume Quantification in Internal Carotid and Vertebral Arteries: Comparison of 3 Different Ultrasound Techniques with Phase- Contrast MR Imaging

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the cerebral blood-flow volume (BFV) values at bilateral internal carotid and vertebral arteries of healthy volunteers obtained with color Doppler, power doppler and B-flow ultrasound (US) studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

A capacitive threshold-logic gate

TL;DR: A dense and fast threshold-logic gate with a very high fan-in capacity and Boolean function performed is described, which can evaluate multiple input vectors in between two successive reset phases because evaluation is nondestructive.
