High-absorption solar steam device comprising Au@Bi2MoO6-CDs: extraordinary desalination and electricity generation

TL;DR: In this article, an innovative 3D nanocomposite Au@Bi2MoO6-carbon dots (CDs) solar steamer has been prepared: it exhibits outstanding light absorption of 70%, a photothermal conversion efficiency of 97.1% and an evaporation rate of 1.69 kg m-2 h-1 under one sun illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-3D hierarchical biomass-based carbon particles absorber for solar desalination and thermoelectric power generator

TL;DR: In this article, a unique photothermal material integrating multiple 3D design philosophy both at macroscopic and microscopic levels by employing the cost-effective and widespread resources like straw, rose and coffee grounds, for carbonization as solar absorbers was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Primary growth of binary nanoparticle superlattices with distinct systems contingent on synergy: softness and crystalline anisotropy

TL;DR: In this article, a variety of BNSL structural configurations, such as NaZn13, Cu3Au, NaCl, AlB2, CaCu5-type structures, were obtained by cocrystallizing Au-Ni and Ag-Ni nanocrystals of different sizes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous acquisition of Fe3O4 monocrystals: Tunable magnetic properties with various morphologies

TL;DR: In this article, a facile one-step method was used to synthesize Fe3O4 nanoparticles with a face-centered cubic structure and two different morphologies (nanospheres and nanoprisms) by using oleylamine (OAm) to dibenzyl ether.
