A review on pharmacological activities and synergistic effect of quercetin with small molecule agents.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper reviewed the pharmacological activities of quercetin and its derivatives, and also summarized both in vivo and in vitro experimental evidence for the synergistic effect against cancers and metabolic diseases, and concluded that synergistic therapy can reduce the dose of agents and avoid the possible toxic and side effects in the treatment process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cucurbitacins: Bioactivities and synergistic effect with small-molecule drugs

TL;DR: The synergistic effect of the combination of cucurbitacins and small-molecule drugs has been summarized with the aim to promote the probability of the use of cucorbitacin as adjunct drugs in clinical treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cucurbitacin IIa interferes with EGFR-MAPK signaling pathway leads to proliferation inhibition in A549 cells.

TL;DR: It is suggested that CuIIa inhibits cell proliferation by interfering the EGFR-MAPK signaling pathway by influencing the transcription of EGFR pathway genes and their proteins accumulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

GR-mediated anti-inflammation of α-boswellic acid: Insights from in vitro and in silico studies.

TL;DR: In this paper, α-boswellic acid has been shown to be a selective glucocorticoid receptor (GR)-mediated anti-inflammation modulator against inflammatory disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibitory activities of 20(R, S)-protopanaxatriol against epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase.

TL;DR: In this article, 20(R, S)-protopanaxatriol-type ginsenosides were investigated against epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase and the potential mechanism.
