Heavy Isotope Abundances in Mike Thermonuclear Device

TL;DR: In this paper, the long-lived products of successive nuclear decays from these isotopes were measured mass spectrometrically and radiometrically, and some nuclear properties of neutron-rich heavy nuclides, not subject to ordinary investigation were inferred.
Journal ArticleDOI

Uptake of metal ions by a new chelating ion-exchange resin. part 1: acid dependencies of actinide ions*

TL;DR: In this article, a chelating ion exchange resin, DiphonixTM, has been used to extract actinide ions from neutral solvents, and the results showed that it is superior to other resins in extracting actinides from very acidic solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI

SELECTIVITY-STRUCTURE TRENDS IN THE EXTRACTION OF Co(II) AND Ni(II) BY DIALKYL PHOSPHORIC, ALKYL ALKYLPHOSPHONIC,AND DIALKYLPHOSPHINIC ACIDS∗

TL;DR: In this paper, the conditional equilibrium constants for the extraction reactions of Co(II) and Ni(ll) by toluene solutions of homologous series dialkyl phosphoric, alkyl alkylsphosphonlc, and dialkylin-phosphlnic acids have been evaluated.
Journal Article
