The half-lives of 245Cm, 246Cm, 248Cm, 250Cf, 251Cf and 249Cf☆

TL;DR: The partial α-half-life of spontaneous fission half-lives of (1·80 ± 0·01) 10 7 yr and (4·22 ± 0.12) 10 6 yr were determined for 246 Cm and 248 Cm, respectively as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aqueous biphasic extraction chromatography (abec™): uptake of pertechnetate from simulated hanford tank wastes

TL;DR: Retention of TcO4 − on the resin in batch mode from 2 and 4 M NaOH and from the waste simulants NCAW, SY-101, and SST, indicated that pertechnetate can be selectively removed from these solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Beta Decay of Bk 250 and Bk 249

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the information obtained from crystal spectrometer singles and coincidence measurements to construct a decay scheme for gamma vibrational levels in ${\mathrm{Bk}}^{250}$ analogous to those found in ${Pu}}^{238}$, where the electron capture partial half-life is estimated to be greater than 50 hours.
Journal ArticleDOI

The influence op the diluent on the distribution behavior of octyl(phenyl)-n,n-diisobutylcarbamoylmethylph0sphine oxide*

TL;DR: The degree of interaction or compatibility of the neutral bifunctional extractant CMP0 with a diluent was determined by measuring the distribution ratio of the extractant between two phases as mentioned in this paper.
