A Multiple Shock Tube and Chemical Kinetic Modeling Study of Diethyl Ether Pyrolysis and Oxidation
Kenji Yasunaga,F. Gillespie,John M. Simmie,Henry J. Curran,Yuma Kuraguchi,Hiroki Hoshikawa,Masatsugu Yamane,Yoshiaki Hidaka +7 more
TL;DR: It is shown that DEE inhibits the reactivity of an equimolar mixture of hydrogen and oxygen (1% of each) and that the unimolecular decomposition and hydrogen atom abstraction of DEE and the decomposition of the ethoxy radical have the largest influence.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shock-tube and modeling study of acetaldehyde pyrolysis and oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the effects of reflected shock waves in the temperature range 1000-1700 K at total pressures between 1.2 and 2.8 atm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shock-tube and modeling study of ethane pyrolysis and oxidation
Yoshiaki Hidaka,Kazutaka Sato,Hiroki Hoshikawa,Toshihide Nishimori,Rie Takahashi,Hiroya Tanaka,Koji Inami,Nobuhiro Ito +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, pyrolysis and oxidation of ethane were studied behind reflected shock waves in the temperature range 950-1900 K at pressures of 1.2-4.0 atm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shock-tube and modeling study of ethyl methyl ether pyrolysis and oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, the pyrolysis and oxidation of ethyl methyl ether (EME) were studied behind reflected shock waves in the temperature range 900-1750 K at total pressures between 0.9 and 3.1 ǫ atm.
