Structure of 3‐Chlorotropolone.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that 3-chlorotro- polone is delocalized in 3-bromotropic polone, whereas the proton is localized in 3 bromotropolone, and it has been suggested that the localization of the hydroxylic proton strongly depends on the planarity of the molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and biochemical characterization of Clostridium perfringens pili protein B collagen‐binding domains

TL;DR: In this article , the authors report X-ray structures of CppB collagen-binding domains, collagen binding assays and mutagenesis analysis, demonstrating that CppBs adopt an L-shaped structure in open form, and that a small β-sheet unique to Cppb provides a scaffold for a favorable binding site for collagen peptide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biochemical Characterizations of the Putative Endolysin Ecd09610 Catalytic Domain from Clostridioides difficile

TL;DR: The genome of C. difficile strain 630 was surveyed and an endolysin gene, Ecd09610, was identified, which has an uncharacterized domain at the N-terminus and two catalytic domains that are homologous to glucosaminidase and endopeptidase at the C- terminus.
