IL-10 deficiency leads to somatic mutations in a model of IBD
Yuichirou Sato,Seiichi Takahashi,Yoshitaka Kinouchi,Manabu Shiraki,Katsuya Endo,Yoshifumi Matsumura,Yoichi Kakuta,Masaki Tosa,Atsuhiro Motida,Hiroko Abe,Go Imai,Hiroshi Yokoyama,Eiki Nomura,Kenichi Negoro,Sho Takagi,Hiroyuki Aihara,Kenichi Masumura,Takehiko Nohmi,Tooru Shimosegawa +18 more
TL;DR: The data demonstrate that the chronic inflammatory environment in the colon promotes the generation of mutations, which are similar among the mouse strains.
Journal ArticleDOI
Life-event stress induced by the Great East Japan Earthquake was associated with relapse in ulcerative colitis but not Crohn's disease: a retrospective cohort study
Hisashi Shiga,Teruko Miyazawa,Yoshitaka Kinouchi,Seiichi Takahashi,Gen Tominaga,Hiroki Takahashi,Sho Takagi,Nobuya Obana,Tatsuya Kikuchi,Shinya Oomori,Eiki Nomura,Manabu Shiraki,Yuichirou Sato,S. TL;DR: Life-event stress induced by the Great East Japan Earthquake was associated with relapse in UC but not CD, and changes in dietary oral intake and anxiety about family finances were associated with the relapse.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quality of life of patients and medical cost of “half elemental diet” as maintenance therapy for Crohn’s disease: Secondary outcomes of a randomised controlled trial
Sho Takagi,K. Utsunomiya,Shinichi Kuriyama,Hiroshi Yokoyama,S. Takahashi,Ken Umemura,Masahiro Iwabuchi,H. Takahashi,Yoshitaka Kinouchi,N. Hiwatashi,Yuji Funayama,Iwao Sasaki,Ichiro Tsuji,Toru Shimosegawa +13 more
