Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Silicon Carbide Nanotubes

TL;DR: In this article, single-phase silicon carbide (SiC) nanotubes were successfully synthesized by the reaction of carbon nano-tubes with silicon powder at 1200°C for 100 h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of single-phase SiC nanotubes and C-SiC coaxial nanotubes

TL;DR: In this article, the preparation conditions of single-phase SiC nanotubes and C-SiC coaxial nantoubes were investigated, and the energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis revealed that the atomic ratio of Si to C in single phase SiC nano-blocks was almost 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

P and S K-edge XANES of transition-metal phosphates and sulfates

TL;DR: In this paper, the structure of 3D transition metal phosphates and sulfates using total-electron-yield X-ray absorption near-edge structure (TEY-XANES) spectroscopy was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resonant Auger-decay process in solid SiO2 at the Si 1s edge.

TL;DR: In this article, the Auger-decay process in solid solid SiO was investigated using synchrotron radiation and it was found that the Si 1s edge splits into two peaks when the photon energy is close to that of the Si 2π resonance.
