Journal ArticleDOI
Hypoxia-elicited mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes facilitates cardiac repair through miR-125b-mediated prevention of cell death in myocardial infarction
Ling-Ping Zhu,Tian Tian,Jun-Yao Wang,Jing-Ni He,Tong Chen,Miao Pan,Li Xu,Huixin Zhang,Xue-Ting Qiu,Chuan-Chang Li,Kang-Kai Wang,Hong Shen,Guogang Zhang,Yong-Ping Bai +13 more
TL;DR: A new mechanism by which Hypo-Exo-derived miR125b-5p facilitates ischemic cardiac repair by ameliorating cardiomyocyte apoptosis is illustrated, and the IMT- Exo may serve as a novel drug carrier that enhances the specificity of drug delivery for isChemic disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
A minimally invasive approach to induce myocardial infarction in mice without thoracotomy.
Quan Sun,Kang Kai Wang,Miao Pan,Ji Peng Zhou,Xue Ting Qiu,Zhen-Yu Wang,Zhen Yang,Yan Chen,Hong Shen,Qi Lin Gu,Longhou Fang,Guogang Zhang,Yong Ping Bai +12 more
TL;DR: The MIM model is able to be efficiently induced by a minimally invasive approach in mice without ventilation and chest-opening and develops into the myocardial ischaemia/reperfusion model by using a balloon catheter with minor modifications.
