Journal ArticleDOI
O2-generating MnO2 nanoparticles for enhanced photodynamic therapy of bladder cancer by ameliorating hypoxia.
TL;DR: This study demonstrated the great potential of HSA-MnO2-Ce6 NPs for bladder cancer photodynamic ablation and provided a new therapeutic strategy to overcoming tumor hypoxia and showed remarkably improved therapeutic efficacy and significantly prolonged lifetime of mice as compared with controls.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circular RNA circSLC8A1 acts as a sponge of miR-130b/miR-494 in suppressing bladder cancer progression via regulating PTEN.
Qun Lu,Tianyao Liu,Huijin Feng,Rong Yang,Xiaozhi Zhao,Wei Chen,Bo Jiang,Haixiang Qin,Xu Guo,Minghui Liu,Limin Li,Hongqian Guo +11 more
TL;DR: It is found thatcircSLC8A1 was down-regulated in bladder cancer tissues and cell lines, and circSLC9A1 expression was associated with the pathological stage and histological grade of bladder cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
TGFβ1 Promotes Gemcitabine Resistance through Regulating the LncRNA-LET/NF90/miR-145 Signaling Axis in Bladder Cancer.
Junlong Zhuang,Lan Shen,Lin Yang,Xiaojing Huang,Qun Lu,Yangyan Cui,Xi Zheng,Xiaozhi Zhao,Dianzheng Zhang,Ruimin Huang,Hongqian Guo,Jun Yan +11 more
TL;DR: It is proved that the dysregulated lncRNA-LET/NF90/miR-145 axis by gemcitabine-induced TGFβ1 promotes UBC chemoresistance through enhancing cancer cell stemness, and targeting this axis could be a promising therapeutic approach in treating UBC patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Blocking interleukin-6 trans-signaling protects against renal fibrosis by suppressing STAT3 activation
Wei Chen,Hui Yuan,Wenmin Cao,Tianwei Wang,Hang Yu,Yao Fu,Bo Jiang,Hong Zhou,Hongqian Guo,Xiaozhi Zhao +9 more
TL;DR: Overall, IL- 6 trans-signaling may contribute to crucial events in the development of renal fibrosis, and the targeting of IL-6 trans-Signaling by Fc-gp130 may provide a novel therapeutic strategy for the treatment of renal Fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Wnt7a activates canonical Wnt signaling, promotes bladder cancer cell invasion, and is suppressed by miR-370-3p
Xiaojing Huang,Hongwen Zhu,Zemin Gao,Junzun Li,Junlong Zhuang,Yu Dong,Bing Shen,Meiqian Li,Hu Zhou,Hongqian Guo,Ruimin Huang,Jun Yan,Jun Yan +12 more
TL;DR: An miR-370-3p/Wnt7a axis is identified that controls UBC invasion through canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling, which may offer prognostic and therapeutic opportunities.
