Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of hydrogen sulfide on alternative pathway respiration and induction of alternative oxidase gene expression in rice suspension cells.
TL;DR: The results indicate that the H2S-induced AOX induction might play a role in inhibiting the ROS production and have an influence on cell viability.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel, stereoselective and practical protocol for the synthesis of 4β-aminopodophyllotoxins
TL;DR: In this article, the Ritter reaction of podophyllotoxins with chloroacetonitrile and subsequent cleavage of the chloroacetyl group in the resulting chlorocacetamide with thiourea under both classical heating and ultrasonic conditions was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Realgar bioleaching solution suppress ras excessive activation by increasing ROS in Caenorhabditis elegans.
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that RBS suppress excessive activated ras by increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS) in C. elegans as a model organism for evaluating prooxidant drug candidates for cancer therapy and ROS induced by RBS significantly accumulated on a higher level than that with wild ras, thus leading to oxidative stress on ras gain-of-function background rather than on normal ras context.
Journal ArticleDOI
Robotic automation in computer controlled polishing
TL;DR: The novel use of robots to automate currently-manual operations on CNC polishing machines, to improve work-throughput, mitigate risk of damage to parts, and reduce dependence on highly-skilled staff is reported, and the vision of the automated manufacturing cell is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Realgar transforming solution suppresses angiogenesis and tumor growth by inhibiting VEGF receptor 2 signaling in vein endothelial cells.
Peng Song,Yang Hai,Xin Wang,Longhe Zhao,Baoqiang Chen,Peng Cui,Qinjian Xie,Lan Yu,Li Yang,Zhengrong Wu,Hongyu Li +10 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that RTS inhibits angiogenesis and may be a potential drug candidate in anticancer therapy and resolved the crucial problem of poor solubility of realgar by using intrinsic biotransformation in microorganism.
