Transient Control of the Reactive Current for the Line-Side Converter of the Brushless Doubly-Fed Induction Generator in Stand-Alone Operation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a transient control algorithm of the reactive current by the line-side converter (LSC) control when the inductive load is suddenly connected or disconnected from the stator power winding (PW) of the brushless doubly-fed induction generator.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Active Voltage Balancing Control Based on Adjusting Driving Signal Time Delay for Series-Connected SiC MOSFETs

TL;DR: In this paper, an active voltage balancing control for series-connected MOSFETs is proposed, which has no penalty of sacrificing the switching performance of SiC MOSFs.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Damping of input LC filter resonance based on virtual resistor for matrix converter

TL;DR: In this article, a virtual resistor that can be connected in parallel with the filter capacitor is proposed to damp the filter oscillation, which only changes the calculation of the modulation index of the space vector modulation strategy.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Comparative Study of Three Different Passive Snubber Circuits for SiC Power MOSFETs

TL;DR: Comparisons among three passive snubber circuits used in SiC applications, which are RC snubs, RCD snubbers, and clamped RCDsnubber respectively, are presented and the characteristics of each snubs are revealed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optimal zero-vector configuration for space vector modulated AC-DC matrix converter

TL;DR: In this article, the optimal zero-vector duty cycles for different switching patterns were derived based on the output inductor current ripple analysis, and then the segmental optimized switching pattern was proposed.
