Journal ArticleDOI

A novel carbon nanotubes reinforced superhydrophobic and superoleophilic polyurethane sponge for selective oil–water separation through a chemical fabrication

TL;DR: In this article, a carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced polyurethane (PU) sponge is presented that shows superhydrophobic and superoleophilic properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superamphiphobic and Electroactive Nanocomposite toward Self-Cleaning, Antiwear, and Anticorrosion Coatings.

TL;DR: This coating demonstrates stable nonwetting performance over a wide temperature range (<400 °C), as well as outstanding self-cleaning ability to prevent contamination by sludge, concentrated H2SO4, and ethylene glycol and significantly improved anticorrosion performance as compared to the bare ETFE coating and ETFE composite coating without PANI/fCNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superhydrophobic poly(vinylidene fluoride) membranes with controllable structure and tunable wettability prepared by one-step electrospinning

TL;DR: In this article, super-hydrophobic electrospun poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) membranes with controllable structure and tunable wettability have been achieved through incorporating ZnO nanoparticles and ammonia treatment for PVDF and/or post-chemical treatment on polymer membrane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and application of polysulfone microcapsules containing tung oil in self-healing and self-lubricating epoxy coating

TL;DR: In this article, polysulfone microcapsules containing tung oil were synthesized by a solvent evaporation method and the mean diameter and wall thickness of the synthesized micro-capsules were approximately 130μm and 9μm, respectively.
