Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibitory effects on mushroom tyrosinase by p-alkoxybenzoic acids
TL;DR: In this article, the inhibitory kinetics of the diphenolase of mushroom tyrosinase by seven p-alkoxybenzoic acids has been studied, and the results show that these derivatives of benzoic acid behave as reversible inhibitors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibitory effects of cupferron on the monophenolase and diphenolase activity of mushroom tyrosinase
TL;DR: A kinetic analysis shows that the cupferron is a competitive inhibitor for both monophenolase and diphenol enzyme, possibly by chelating copper at the active site of the enzyme.
Journal ArticleDOI
Unfolding and inactivation of Ampullarium crossean β-glucosidase during denaturation by guanidine hydrochloride
TL;DR: The extent of inactivation of Ampullarium crossean beta-glucosidase was greater than that of conformational changes, indicating that the active site of the enzyme is more flexible than the whole enzyme molecule.
