Water‐Soluble Fluorescent Carbon Quantum Dots and Photocatalyst Design

TL;DR: The facile one-step alkali-assisted electrochemical fabrication of CQDs with sizes of 1.2– 3.8 nm which possess size-dependent photoluminescence (PL) and excellent upconversion luminescence properties are reported and the design of photocatalysts is demonstrated to harness the use of the full spectrum of sunlight.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of chiral graphene oxides by covalent attachment of chiral cysteines for voltammetric recognition of tartrates.

TL;DR: The resulting chiral functionalized GOs shows circular dichroism with intensities similar to those produced by the cysteine, indicating that the chirality of cysteines is well preserved in the chiral GOs.

Preparation method of carbon nanoparticle with controllable photoluminescence

TL;DR: In this article, a method for the preparation of carbon nanoparticles with controllable photoluminescence using the hydrothermal process is presented, and the method comprises the following steps: preparing a solution composed of a carbohydrate which is used as a carbon source and an oxidation additive, feeding the solution to a hydrotherm reactor and heating to allow reactions, carrying out centrifugal separation on the reaction product, washing with water for three times and washing with ethanol for threetimes; removing salts; and drying to obtain carbon nanoparticle.

Method for preparing magnetic fluorescent nanocomposite material

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for preparing a magnetic fluorescent nanocomposite material The method comprises the following steps of: first, synthesizing carbon nanoparticles with fluorescence properties by hydrothermal method; then, adding a divalent iron salt and a trivalent iron salt into the solution of the carbon nanoparticles by an adsorption method, protecting by using nitrogen, adding alkaline solution, and reacting with stirring; and finally, obtaining a carbon/ferroferric oxide nanocomposite material with magnetic properties and the fluorescence properties by washing and separating reaction products By using the method, magnetic ferroferric oxide nanoparticles are coated in the carbon nanoparticles, so the nanocomposite material which has the magnetic properties and the fluorescence properties at the same time is prepared; the method is simple and convenient to operate; and the introduction of other organic solvents does not need to be worried The invention also provides a compounding method for synthesizing and other metals, metal oxides and metal salts
