Acute myocardial injury is common in patients with COVID-19 and impairs their prognosis.
Jiafu Wei,Fang-Yang Huang,Tian-Yuan Xiong,Qi Liu,H. S. Chen,Hui Wang,He Huang,Yi-Chun Luo,Xuan Zhou,Zhiyue Liu,Yong Peng,Yuan-Ning Xu,Bo Wang,Yingying Yang,Zongan Liang,Xue-Zhong Lei,Yang Ge,Ming Yang,Ling Zhang,Ming-Quan Zeng,He Yu,Kai Liu,Yu-Heng Jia,Bernard Prendergast,Weimin Li,Mao Chen +25 more
TL;DR: Acute myocardial injury is common in patients with COVID-19 and is associated with adverse prognosis, including death, admission to an intensive care unit (ICU), need for mechanical ventilation, treatment with vasoactive agents and classification of disease severity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Suspected Hydroxychloroquine-Induced Sinus Bradycardia and QTc Prolongation in a Patient with COVID-19
TL;DR: With the COVID-19 pandemic, this case alerts clinicians to be aware of the arrhythmogenic effects of HCQ when it is used as an antiviral drug, especially in patients with preexisting cardiovascular diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relationship between right‐to‐left shunt, hypoxia, and epilepsy
Bosi Dong,Yajiao Li,Shuming Ji,Shixu He,Qi Lai,Ximeng Yang,Hui Wang,Yusha Tang,An Jiao Peng,Min Wu,Yun-wu Zhang,Lei Chen +11 more
TL;DR: A right-to-left shunt (RLS) can mediate the hypoxic state, and hypoxemia is relevant for the development of drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract 5569: CAR-T cells with αPDL1/CD28 switch-receptor synergize radiotherapy and anti-PD1 therapy in solid tumors
Limei Yin,Wenbo Wang,Zhuoran Yao,Jianxin Xie,Ruizhan Tong,Hui Wang,Shu-Juan Liao,Laduona Wang,Feifei Na,Min Yu,Xuanwei Zhang,Youling Gong,Meijuan Huang,Xianming Mo,Cheng Chen,You Lu +15 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that αPDL1/CD28 augments the function of CAR-T cells, and the combinatorial regime of αPDl1/ CD28 CAR- T cells, radiotherapy and anti-PD1 in solid tumors could be further investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Aortic root 'sink down' caused mitral stenosis after aortic valve replacement: a rare presentation of Bechet's disease.
TL;DR: Aortic sinus and ascending aorta enlargement was detected in a 67-year-old man 9 years ago and aortic root began to sink down slightly to left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) in the first year after surgery, with a normal function of the prosthetic valve as mentioned in this paper .
