Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of 3D Biocompatible/Biodegradable Micro-Scaffolds Using Dynamic Mask Projection Microstereolithography
TL;DR: In this article, a Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) was used for dynamic pattern generation and an ultraviolet (UV) lamp filtered at 365nm for crosslinking the photoreactive polymer solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
MicroRNA-378 limits activation of hepatic stellate cells and liver fibrosis by suppressing Gli3 expression
Jeongeun Hyun,Sihyung Wang,Ji Eun Kim,Kummara Madhusudana Rao,Soo Yong Park,Ildoo Chung,Chang-Sik Ha,Sang-Woo Kim,Yang H. Yun,Youngmi Jung +9 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrate that miR-378a-3p suppresses activation of HSCs by targeting Gli3 and its expression is regulated by Smo-dependent NF-κB signalling, suggesting miR -378a -3p has therapeutic potential for liver fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Waterborne polyurethane nanocomposites having shape memory effects
TL;DR: In this article, a waterborne polyurethane/silica nanocomposites were designed and synthesized with functionalized silicas, where the functionalization was made with allyl isocyanate.
Journal ArticleDOI
An amino acid-modified and non-HEMA containing glass-ionomer cement
TL;DR: It appears that this novel non-HEMA-containing RMGIC system based on amino acid derivatives will be a better dental restorative because it demonstrated improved mechanical strengths and may eliminate potential cytotoxicity in current R MGICs caused by leached HEMA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of poly(acrylamidoglycolic acid) grafted onto chitosan and its polyelectrolyte complexes with hydroxyapatite
TL;DR: In this article, a free radical initiation mechanism using a redox initiation system was used for graft copolymerization of acrylamidoglycolic acid (AGA) onto chitosan (CS).
