Journal ArticleDOI

General anharmonic force constants of carbon dioxide

TL;DR: In this article, the Fermi coupling off-diagonal elements of carbon dioxide have been determined by the least squares method from spectroscopic data on C12O216 and C13O216 together with the four third-order parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum: Method of Adjusting Force Constants and Its Application to H2O, H2CO, CH2Cl, and Their Deuterated Molecules

TL;DR: In this article, a new method for the adjustment of vibrational force constants is presented, which avoids some of the divergence difficulties which may be encountered in perturbation and least square procedures.
Journal ArticleDOI

General anharmonic force constants of nitrous oxide

TL;DR: In this paper, the principal stretching force constants of the most general quartic force field have been determined for the nitrous oxide molecule from the spectroscopic data on N 2 14 O 16, N 15 N 14 O16, N 2 15 O 16, and N 2 16 O 18 along with four third-order parameters, λ 1, λ 2, ǫ 3, and δ which appear in the Fermi coupling off-diagonal matrix elements.
Journal ArticleDOI

The internal rotation in anilides about the peptide bond as axis

TL;DR: In this paper, a near-infra-red absorption spectra and measurement of apparent dipole moments were made of formanilide, acetanilide and thioacetanilides, dissolved in carbon tetrachloride at various concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Infrared spectra and force constants of CH2Cl2, CHDCl2, and CD2Cl2

TL;DR: Deuterated dichloromethanes, CHDCl 2 and CD 2 Cl 2, were prepared and their infrared spectra were measured in the gaseous and liquid states.
