Journal ArticleDOI

A new HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid and aminothiols in human plasma and erythrocytes using electrochemical detection

TL;DR: The optimized and validated HPLC-ECD method was successfully applied for the determination of the abovementioned compounds in human plasma and erythrocytes and will be quite suitable for the determined profile of ascorbic acid and aminothiols in oxidative stress and other basic research studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancement of dissolution rate of class II drugs (Hydrochlorothiazide); a comparative study of the two novel approaches; solid dispersion and liqui-solid techniques.

TL;DR: Liqui-solid technique and solid dispersion formation are two novel approaches for enhancement of dissolution rate of BCS class II drugs and results obtained indicated that liqui- solid compact formulations were more effective in enhancing the dissolution rate compared withSolid dispersion technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous determination of domperidone and Itopride in pharmaceuticals and human plasma using RP-HPLC/UV detection: Method development, validation and application of the method in in-vivo evaluation of fast dispersible tablets.

TL;DR: The developed RP-HPLC/UV method was successfully applied for in-vivo analysis of fast dispersible tablets of Domperidone in healthy human volunteer and was efficiently applied for determination of the two drugs in various pharmaceutical products and human plasma.
Journal Article

Evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity of selected medicinal plants of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

TL;DR: The results obtained from both in vitro and in vivo anti- inflammation activity suggest that the ethyl acetate fraction of the crude extract of all the selected plants can be used for the isolation of new lead compounds with better anti-inflammatory activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous Determination of Endogenous Antioxidants and Malondialdehyde by RP-HPLC Coupled with Electrochemical Detector in Serum Samples

TL;DR: In this article, a new method has been developed and validated based on high-performance liquid chromatography for simultaneous determination of endogenous aminothiols (cystine, cysteine, homocystiene, methionine, reduced and oxidized glutathione, N-acetylcysteine), ascorbic acid, and malondialdehyde in single elution using electrochemical detector kept at 900mV electrode potential on Discovery 250mm C18 RP chromatographic column.
