Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of turmeric extract on blood parameters, feed efficiency and abdominal fat content in broilers.

TL;DR: Turmeric extract seemed to be able to improve the digestion and metabolism resulted in enhanced production of hemoglobin in broilers, which might explain why turmeric could not improve thefeed efficiency of broiler.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assay of Antioxidant Potential of Two Filamentous Fungi Isolated from the Indonesian Fermented Dried Cassava.

TL;DR: Both filamentous fungi isolated from the Indonesian fermented dried cassava exhibited antioxidant potentials as indicated by their capabilities to scavenge ABTS+.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of dietary supplementation with Rhizopus oryzae or Chrysonilia crassa on growth performance, blood profile, intestinal microbial population, and carcass traits in broilers exposed to heat stress.

TL;DR: This study aimed to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation with the fungi Rhizopus oryzae or Chrysonilia crassa on growth, blood profile, intestinal microbial population and carcass traits in broiler chicks subjected to HS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of feeding cassava pulp fermented with Acremonium charticola on growth performance, nutrient digestibility and meat quality of broiler chicks

TL;DR: Dietary inclusion of AC-FCP reduced the feed cost per kilogram live weight gain of broiler chicks and seems to play an important role in increasing the relative weight of spleen, ileum and caecum, alleviating oxidative stress, and increasing the protein content of breast muscle of broilers.
