Carrier Transport and Recombination Mechanism in Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diode with Hosts Consisting of Cabazole- and Triazole-Moiety
Tian-You Cheng,Jiun-Haw Lee,Chia-Hsun Chen,Po-Hsun Chen,Po-Sheng Wang,Chuan-En Lin,Bo-Yen Lin,Yi-Hsin Lan,Yu-Hsuan Hsieh,Jau-Jiun Huang,Hsiu-Feng Lu,Ito Chao,Man-kit Leung,Tien-Lung Chiu,Chi-Feng Lin +14 more
TL;DR: The recombination zone was well confined inside the emitting layer and the recombination rate was most efficient in a 2CbzTAZ-based OLED, which exhibited the lowest driving voltage and the highest efficiencies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isolation of C76, a chiral (D2) allotrope of carbon
TL;DR: In this paper, the 13C NMR spectrum of the C76 molecule has been used to confirm a chiral structure with D2 symmetry, consisting of a spiralling, double-helical arrangement of edge-sharing pentagons and hexagons.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fullerene isomerism: isolation of c2v,-c78 and d3-c78.
TL;DR: Two distinct C78-isomers were formed in a ratio of ∼5:1 and could be separated by high-performance liquid chromatography and the isolation of specifically these two isomers of C78 provides insight into the stability of higher fullerenes and into the mechanism for fullerene formation in general.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cyanation: Providing a Three‐in‐One Advantage for the Design of n‐Type Organic Field‐Effect Transistors
TL;DR: The theoretical work presented here demonstrates that, when substitution takes place at appropriate positions, cyanation could be a useful tool for reducing the internal reorganization energy of molecules.
