Intracrystalline grafting on layer silicic acids

Eduardo Ruiz-Hitzky, +1 more
- 04 Sep 1980 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the intracrystalline grafting on internal Si-OH groups in certain layer silicic acids and showed that the resulting grafted products are organosilicic compounds which retain the lamellar structure of the starting silicics acids, but with the interlamellar surfaces covered by organic groups homogeneously distributed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proton-sodium exchange in magadiite. Spectroscopic study (NMR, IR) of the evolution of interlayer OH groups

TL;DR: The formation process of the layered silicic acid H-magadiite, obtained after hydrochloric acid treatment of magadiite has been studied by IR and (/sup 1/H and /sup 23/Na) NMR spectroscopies combined with x-ray diffraction, chemical and thermogravimetric analyses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin-glass behavior in a three-dimensional antiferromagnet ordered phase: Magnetic structure of Co 2 (OH)(PO 4 )

TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear and magnetic structures have been determined from powder x-ray diffraction data, and the structure consists of a three-dimensional framework in which trigonal bipyramid dimers and octahedra chains are simultaneously present.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic evolution of the antiferromagnetic Co2−xCux(OH)PO4 (0 ≤x≤ 2) solid solution. A neutron diffraction study

Structural and Spectroscopic Study of the (Mg, Ni)2(OH)(AsO4) Arsenates

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structures of these compounds have been refined using X-ray powder diffraction data, and the structure of the compounds contains two kinds of oxygen polyhedra coordinating to the metal atoms, an octahedron and a trigonal bipyramid.
