Diagnostics of the tram track shape with the use of the global positioning satellite systems (GPS/Glonass) measurements with a 20 Hz frequency sampling

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used two-system satellite receivers to measure the deformation of the tram track on the example of the measurement line in Gdansk (October 2013).
Journal ArticleDOI

Accuracy assessment of mobile satellite measurements in relation to the geometrical layout of rail tracks

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the campaigns of mobile satellite measurements, carried out in 2009-2015 on the railway and tram lines, and evaluate the changing possibilities of using the GNSS techniques to determine the shape of the railway track axis from 2009 to 2015.
Journal ArticleDOI

Uptake, accumulation, and translocation of Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd, Ni, and Cr by P. australis seedlings in an urban dredged sediment mesocosm: Impact of seedling origin and initial trace metal content

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the uptake, accumulation, and translocation properties of seedlings with different initial trace metal contents, and found that the Suncont seedlings presented better properties and adaptability for phytoremediation purposes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Testing the Positioning Accuracy of GNSS Solutions during the Tramway Track Mobile Satellite Measurements in Diverse Urban Signal Reception Conditions

TL;DR: A mathematical model is presented that enables the calculation of positioning availability at three accuracy levels: 1 cm, 3 cm and 10 cm that has shown that applying a two-system solution considerably increases the availability of high-precision coordinates compared to a single- system solution (GPS), whereas the measurements with three systems negligibly increase the availability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Digital Filtering of Railway Track Coordinates in Mobile Multi-Receiver GNSS Measurements.

TL;DR: The method for assessing the quality of the measurement results obtained from GNSS receivers and their preparation for further processing making use of geometrically constrained parameters of the base vector and specialized digital filtering, among other elements, to precisely determining the track axis is proposed.
