Influence of the injection molding process on the mechanical properties of (PA6/GF/MMT) nanocomposite

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of injection molding conditions on the mechanical properties of polyamide 6/glass fiber/montmorillonite (PA6/GF/MMT) composites is investigated, and the results demonstrate that composites processed at lower mass temperatures exhibited higher tensile strength and flexural strength.

Food-safe, antimicrobial multilayered packaging

TL;DR: A multilayered antimicrobial multilayer packaging consists of at least two layers with specific functions, wherein the inner layer (1) necessarily has an antimicrobial function and is preferably made of a polymer material to which a zinc-based compound is added, together with an outer layer (2) that provides a structural support and to which an aesthetic finish can be applied, as well as a plurality of other, intermediate layers having specific functions.

Effects of the Temperature and UV Radiation on the Antimicrobial Action of Bactericidal Wood Polymer Composite (BWPC)

TL;DR: In this paper, an investigation of the influences of temperature and UV radiation on the antimicrobial properties of Bactericide Wood Polymer Composite (BWPC) was presented. And the results showed that the bactericide action is strongly affected by the time of exposure of the composite to high temperature andUV radiation.
