Journal ArticleDOI
Radiosensitization by erlotinib and veliparib in esophageal squamous cell cancer.
A.C. Whitley,Tiffiny Cooper,Anusha Angajala,Hoa Q. Trummell,Josh Jackson,James A. Bonner,Eddy S. Yang +6 more
TL;DR: It is hypothesized that erlotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor directed against HER1/HER2, could induce a transient DNA repair deficit and subsequently increase DNA damage with the PARPi veliparib in esophageal cancer cells while increasing tumor radiation (RT) sensitivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Susceptibility of HER2+ breast cancer cells to poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibition independent of an inherent DNA repair defect.
TL;DR: Surprisingly, PARP inhibition with ABT-888 alone reduced the colony forming ability and cell viability of the HER2+ breast cancer cell ...
Journal ArticleDOI
Erlotinib as a Radiosensitizer for Patients with Esophageal Cancer
Michael C. Dobelbower,Suzanne Russo,Kevin P. Raisch,Leisa L. Seay,Lisa Clemons,S. Suter,James Posey,James A. Bonner +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Dosimetric impact of target definitions on normal structures in head and neck cancer.
Micah T Monaghan,James A. Bonner,Philip E. Schaner,Philip E. Schaner,Jimmy J. Caudell,Jimmy J. Caudell +5 more
TL;DR: Smaller target volumes with the addition of an intermediate dose volume results in improved sparing of most normal tissues, and this evaluation found this to be a good result.
