TL;DR: The results indicate that, in ESRD, conduit artery shear stress is lower, which might be secondary to an increased peripheral vascular resistance caused by higher ET-1 levels.

TL;DR: Despite increased compliance with the safety programme, no significant decrease in SSI rate was found after implementation and the Dutch VMS safety programme did not show a significant effect on the decrease in incidence of SSI.
