Effect of internal oxidation on the mechanical properties of a Cu-Co-Si alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, the mechanical properties of an internally oxidized Cu-Co-Si alloy of wire form were studied by torsional deformation, and it was found that as a result of the internal oxidation the ageing heat-treatments lead to the formation of regions with cylindrical symmetry which have significantly different mechanical properties.

The plastic behaviour of 〈100〉 and 〈111〉 textured polycrystalline metals during simultaneous torsion and extension

TL;DR: In this article, the work hardening of textured polycrystalline copper wires was studied by simultaneous torsion and extension and by pure extension, showing that the rate of hardening is significantly lower for torsions than for pure extension.
