A Phosphorus-Based Dendrimer Targets Inflammation and Osteoclastogenesis in Experimental Arthritis
Myriam Hayder,Mary Poupot,Michel Baron,Michel Baron,Michel Baron,Delphine Nigon,Cédric-Olivier Turrin,Anne-Marie Caminade,Jean-Pierre Majoral,Robert A. Eisenberg,Jean-Jacques Fournié,Alain Cantagrel,Rémy Poupot,Rémy Poupot,Rémy Poupot,Jean-Luc Davignon +15 more
TL;DR: Dendrimer ABP, by doubling up against inflammation and bone erosion, might be more effective at treating RA than existing antibody- and small-molecule–based biologic drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regioselective stepwise growth of dendrimer units in the internal voids of a main dendrimer
TL;DR: In this article, the development of a macromolecular chemistry within the cavities of dendrimers is illustrated by two examples of construction of six Dendrimer units within the cascade structure of a main Dender, and the preparation of these multidendritic systems involves the regioselective modification of the framework of the central Dender to create internal reactive centers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dendrimers and nanomedicine: multivalency in action
TL;DR: The contribution of dendrimers to the field of nanomedicine is discussed in this article, focusing on the extraordinary possibilities offered by their multivalent and defined structure, as well as the underlying concepts that make Dendrimeric systems so attractive.
Journal ArticleDOI
Designing dendrimers for ocular drug delivery.
Grégory Spataro,François Malecaze,Cédric-Olivier Turrin,Cédric-Olivier Turrin,Vincent Soler,Carine Duhayon,Carine Duhayon,Pierre-Paul Elena,Jean-Pierre Majoral,Jean-Pierre Majoral,Anne-Marie Caminade,Anne-Marie Caminade +11 more
TL;DR: New series of phosphorus-containing dendrimers, having one quaternary ammonium salt as core and carboxylic acid terminal groups have been synthesized from generation 0 to generation 2, which react with the neutral form of carteolol to afford ion pair (saline) species.
