Integration in the Absence of Institutions: China-North Korea Cross-Border Exchange
TL;DR: In this article, a survey of more than 300 Chinese enterprises that do or have done business in North Korea was conducted to investigate how informal institutions have addressed these problems in a setting in which rule of law and institutions are particularly weak.
Journal ArticleDOI
Outcomes of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy for completely endophytic renal tumors: A multicenter analysis.
Umberto Carbonara,Giuseppe Simone,Andrea Minervini,Chandru P. Sundaram,Alessandro Larcher,Jennifer J. Lee,Enrico Checcucci,Cristian Fiori,Devin Patel,Margaret Meagher,Fabio Crocerossa,Alessandro Veccia,Lance J. Hampton,Pasquale Ditonno,Michele Battaglia,Aldo Brassetti,A.M. Bove,Andrea Mari,Riccardo Campi,Marco Carini,Jay Sulek,Francesco Montorsi,Umberto Capitanio,Daniel Eun,Francesco Porpiglia,Ithaar Derweesh,Riccardo Autorino +26 more
TL;DR: The findings confirm that RAPN in case of completely endophytic renal masses can be performed with acceptable outcomes in centers with significant robotic expertise and that clinical tumor size was only significant predictor for trifecta achievement.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the rates of entrepreneurship and business ownership between African American, Koreans, and Jews and proposed explanations for the different rates of success, and found that the advantage enjoyed by Korean and Jewish businesses is access to capital (loans from co-ethnics, family, and rotating credit associations).
Journal ArticleDOI
Retroperitoneal versus transepritoneal robot-assisted partial nephrectomy for postero-lateral renal masses: an international multicenter analysis.
Umberto Carbonara,Daniel Eun,Ithaar Derweesh,Umberto Capitanio,Antonio Celia,Cristian Fiori,Enrico Checcucci,Daniele Amparore,Jennifer J. Lee,Alessandro Larcher,Devin Patel,Margaret Meagher,Fabio Crocerossa,Alessandro Veccia,Lance J. Hampton,Francesco Montorsi,Francesco Porpiglia,Riccardo Autorino +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the outcomes of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) in a large cohort of patients with postero-lateral renal masses comparing to those of transperitoneal RAPN (t-RAPNs) were assessed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single overnight stay after robot-assisted partial nephrectomy: a bi-center experience.
Umberto Carbonara,Jennifer J. Lee,Fabio Crocerossa,Alessandro Veccia,Lance J. Hampton,Daniel Eun,Riccardo Autorino +6 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that a single overnight stay after RAPN is feasible and safe and surgeons should also implement perioperative care pathways facilitating early discharge without increasing the risk of readmission.
