Journal ArticleDOI
68Ga-Labeled Gold Glyconanoparticles for Exploring Blood–Brain Barrier Permeability: Preparation, Biodistribution Studies, and Improved Brain Uptake via Neuropeptide Conjugation
TL;DR: The synthesis of novel water-soluble and biocompatible glucose-coated gold nanoparticles (GNPs) carrying BBB-permeable neuropeptides and a chelator of the positron emitter (68)Ga as a PET reporter for in vivo tracking biodistribution is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of 68Ga-radiopharmaceuticals using both generator-derived and cyclotron-produced 68Ga as exemplified by [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 for prostate cancer PET imaging
Melissa E. Rodnick,Carina Sollert,Daniela Stark,Mara Clark,Andrew Katsifis,Brian G. Hockley,D. Christian Parr,Jens Frigell,Bradford D. Henderson,Laura Bruton,Sean M. Preshlock,Monica Abghari-Gerst,Morand Piert,Michael J. Fulham,Stefan Eberl,Katherine Gagnon,Peter J. H. Scott +16 more
TL;DR: Detailed protocols are reported for the synthesis of [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 using both generator-eluted and cyclotron-produced 68Ga and the pros and cons of each method are compared, with the conclusion that the method employing cyclotrons produced 68Ga is the most promising for meeting high patient volumes.
