Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of metal oxide additives on the activity and stability of Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts in the synthesis of methanol from CO2 and H2
J. Słoczyński,R. Grabowski,Piotr Olszewski,A. Kozłowska,Jerzy Stoch,M. Lachowska,Jerzy Skrzypek +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalyst has been modified by adding small amounts of B, Ga, In, Gd, Y, Mn and Mg oxides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic activity of the M/(3ZnO·ZrO2) system (M = Cu, Ag, Au) in the hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol
J. Słoczyński,R. Grabowski,A. Kozłowska,Piotr Olszewski,Jerzy Stoch,Jerzy Skrzypek,M. Lachowska +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of M/(3ZnO·ZrO 2 ) catalysts with the use of the XPS, XRD and TEM techniques were determined for the reaction of the synthesis of methanol from CO 2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective reduction of nitric oxide with propene over platinum-group based catalysts: Studies of surface species and catalytic activity
TL;DR: In this paper, the reduction of nitric oxide by propene in the presence of oxygen over platinum-group metals supported on TiO2, ZnO, ZrO2 and Al2O3 has been investigated by combined diffuse reflectance FT-IR spectroscopy and catalytic activity studies under flow reaction conditions at 523-673 K and atmospheric pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Mg and Mn oxide additions on structural and adsorptive properties of Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts for the methanol synthesis from CO2
J. Słoczyński,R. Grabowski,A. Kozłowska,Piotr Olszewski,M. Lachowska,Jerzy Skrzypek,Jerzy Stoch +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the Mg and Mn promoters on the activity of the Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts in the reaction of the synthesis of methanol from CO2 and H2, and the steam reforming of methenol, as well as on the catalysts' adsorptive properties with respect to reactants (CO, CO2, H2O, methanols) was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Polymorphic ZrO2 Phases and the Silver Electronic State on the Activity of Ag/ZrO2 Catalysts in the Hydrogenation of CO2 to Methanol
R. Grabowski,J. Słoczyński,M. Śliwa,Dariusz Mucha,Robert P. Socha,M. Lachowska,Jerzy Skrzypek +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity to methanol increases with increasing t-ZrO2 content but RWGS reaction is accelerated by dispersed metallic silver, and it was found that selection of appropriate conditions of the catalyst preparation influences silver dispersion degree, its electronic state, and contents of the zirconia polymorphic phases (tetragonal and monoclinic).
