TL;DR: Genomic analyses of six fatty acid desaturase genes revealed that FAD2-2, an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) oleic acid Desaturase, is affected in the mutants, resulting in a ~ 7% increase in oleoic acid content in comparison to untreated Tamla plants.

TL;DR: Different functions of the CsRCI2A and Cs RCI2E proteins in plasma membrane potential regulation during salt stress are indicated, which likely has a suppressor function and the two hydrophobic domains likely are activators via maintenance of membrane potential.
