Development and application of a braided river model with non-uniform sediment transport
TL;DR: In this article, a physics-based morphological model for modeling the evolution of a single straight channel to a multi-thread pattern and local morphologic changes is presented. But this model is not suitable for the modeling of multithreaded channels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Seasonal hydrodynamic interactions between tidal waves and river flows in the Yangtze Estuary
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the interactions between tidal waves and riverine flows in the Yangtze Estuary using the methods of numerical modelling and harmonic analysis, and the results indicated that in the coastal area, semi-diurnal and diurnal tidal constituents propagate in different directions along the coast and that the tidal waves in coastal area are stationary, i.e. the amplitude and phase do not change in time.
Journal ArticleDOI
A modelling study of residence time and exposure time in the Pearl River Estuary, China
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a depth integrated hydrodynamic-dispersion model to predict the distribution of the tidal wave amplitude and salinity level in the Pearl River Estuary (PRE).
Journal ArticleDOI
Predicting water age distribution in the Pearl River Estuary using a three-dimensional model
TL;DR: In this paper, the age of water (AW) concept is applied to investigate the water exchange process in a large and density stratified estuary, namely the Pearl River Estuary.

TL;DR: This paper reviews the challenge on constrained high dynamic range (HDR) imaging that was part of the New Trends in Image Restoration and Enhancement (NTIRE) workshop, held in conjunction with CVPR 2022, and the competition set-up, datasets, proposed methods and their results.
