Journal ArticleDOI
SERS, XPS, and electroanalytical studies of the chemisorption of benzotriazole on a freshly etched surface and an oxidized surface of copper
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemisorption of a compact polymeric coating on copper surfaces from a benzotriazole solution
Gi Xue,Jianfu Ding +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a cyclic voltammetry was used to study the electrochemical behavior of benzotriazole adsorbed on copper surfaces, and a more compact film of bisbenzotrazolato copper (II), which shows better anticorrosion effects for copper, was formed when cyclic voltage measurement was applied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Glass transition temperature of polystyrene microparticles
TL;DR: In this article, it was suggested that the decrease in Tg of the particles was due to their high surface area to volume ratio, which was regarded as the glass transition of the polystyrene (PS) microparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface reaction of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole on metals and its application in adhesion promotion
Gi Xue,Xueying Huang,Jianfu Ding +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, 2-mercaptobenzimidazole reacts directly with metallic copper to form copper 2-MERcaptobenzinamide, which covered the surface with a polymeric film.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering and cyclic voltammetry studies of synergetic effects in the corrosion inhibition of copper by polybenzimidazole and mercaptobenzimidazole at high temperature
TL;DR: In this article, an in situ surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to assess the performance of copper corrosion by polybenzimidazole and mercaptobenzimidrazole at room and high temperature.
