Journal ArticleDOI
Acoustic localization of partial discharge sources in power transformers using a particle-swarm-optimization-route-searching algorithm
Yan-Bo Wang,Ding-Ge Chang,Yu-Hang Fan,Guan-Jun Zhang,Jiang-Yang Zhan,Xian-Jun Shao,He Wenlin +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a transformer physical model is established by taking these complex factors into consideration, and the velocity and propagation factors are set for each node according to its acoustic wave propagation characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Insulation condition diagnosis of oil-immersed paper insulation based on non-linear frequency-domain dielectric response
Daning Zhang,Hao Yun,Jiang-Yang Zhan,Xiang Sun,He Wenlin,Niu Chaobin,Hai-Bao Mu,Guan-Jun Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a non-linear phenomenon in frequency domain dielectric response with different moisture contents and aging condition was observed, which appears to be related to the hindrance effect of cellulose on the movement of ions and the Poole-Frenkel effect on the concentration of ions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Research on Surface Modification of Polytetrafluoroethylene Coupled With Argon Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma Jet Characteristics
TL;DR: An argon dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) atmospheric-pressure plasma jet (APPJ) was designed and employed for surface modification of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Journal ArticleDOI
Cathode-like luminescence from vacuum-dielectric interface induced by self-stabilizing secondary electron emission
TL;DR: In this paper, a kind of interesting luminescence phenomenon from vacuum-dielectric interface under high electric field is presented, which is visible, steady, and continuous, occurring before or accompanied with flashover across dielectric, quite different from general electroluminescence from insulator surface reported before.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation on Spurt Length of Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma Jets
TL;DR: In this paper, three kinds of electrode configurations are employed for studying the spurt length of atmospheric-pressure plasma jets (APPJ) and the influences of Ar flow rate, applied voltage, and electrode width on APPJ length are investigated.
