100 Gb/s complete ETDM system based on monolithically integrated transmitter and receiver modules
Ke Wang,Jie Li,Anders Djupsjöbacka,M. Chacinski,Urban Westergren,Sergei Popov,G. Jacobsen,Volker Hurm,R. E. Makon,Rachid Driad,H. Walcher,J. Rosenzweig,A. G. Steffan,G.G. Mekonnen,H.-G. Bach +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, a complete ETDM system based on monolithically integrated transmitter and receiver modules was demonstrated with BER performance below FEC threshold up to 107 Gb/s with clear eye opening.
Proceedings Article
40-Gb/s Field Transmission through 540 km SSMF Using the APRZ Modulation Format
Marco Forzati,Anders Berntson,Jonas Martensson,Anders Djupsjöbacka,Jie Li,Stefan Melin,Hans Carlden +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the first field transmission experiment using the APRZ modulation format for 40-Gb/s transmission through 540 km SSMF was reported, which confirmed the improved nonlinear tolerance of APRZ.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
4×40 GHz multi-colored optical pulse generation using single two-arm modulated Mach-Zehnder modulator
TL;DR: In this article, a two-arm modulated Mach-Zehnder modulator was used to generate 4×40 GHz multi-colored optical pulses with a uniform 160 GHz multiple-colored pulse train.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Close-form expression of one-tap normalized LMS carrier phase recovery in optical communication systems
TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of the one-tap normalized least-mean-square (LMS) carrier phase recovery (CPR) is carried out and the close-form expression is investigated for quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) coherent optical fiber communication systems, in compensating both laser phase noise and equalization enhanced phase noise.
4×40 GHz multi-colored optical pulse generation using single two-arm modulated Mach-Zehnder modulator
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-arm modulated Mach-Zehnder modulator was used to generate 4×40 GHz multi-colored optical pulses with a uniform 160 GHz multiple-colored pulse train.
