Seismic Performance of Beam-Column Connections for Special Moment Frame Using 600 MPa Flexural Reinforcement

TL;DR: In this article, an experimental study was performed to evaluate the seismic performance of beam-column connections using 600 MPa re-bars for beam flexural reinforcement, and the test results showed that bond-slip increased in the beam column joint.
Journal ArticleDOI

Piezoelectric characteristics of urethane composites incorporating piezoelectric nanomaterials

TL;DR: In this article, three types of piezoelectric nanomaterials (lead zirconate titanate (PZT), zinc oxide, and barium titanate), along with two types of urethane matrices were evaluated in terms of the output voltage generated by external stamping loads.
Journal ArticleDOI

Minimum curing time for preventing frost damage of early-age concrete

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effect of the age of concrete at the beginning of freezing and curing temperatures on the compressive strength of fresh concrete and investigated the source of frost damage in fresh concrete.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prediction model for the hydration properties of concrete

TL;DR: In this article, a prediction model for the compressive strength of concrete is proposed based on the assumption that the apparent activation energy is a characteristic property of concrete, and the model correctly estimates the splitting tensile strength, elastic modulus, and autogenous shrinkage.
