Journal ArticleDOI

Tannic acid-reinforced methacrylated chitosan/methacrylated silk fibroin hydrogels with multifunctionality for accelerating wound healing.

TL;DR: The introduction of TA into hydrogels further improved the antimicrobial activities against both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus Aureus, as well as the cytocompatibility on fibroblasts, and demonstrated that the TA-treated CSMA/SFMA hydrogel could significantly promote wound healing in a full-thickness skin defect model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of nanofibrous scaffolds with interconnected perfusable microchannel networks for engineering of vascularized bone tissue

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper presented a simple and general strategy to construct a nanofibrous poly( l -lactide)/poly(e-caprolactone) (PLLA/PCL) scaffold with interconnected perfusable microchannel networks (IPMs) based on 3D printing technology by combining the phase separation and sacrificial template methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of 3D printed constructs based on microfluidic microgel for bone regeneration

TL;DR: The strategy of preparing cell-laden microgels based on microfluidic technology to improve the survival rate of cells in the bioprinting process can be available and effective in development of tissue engineered constructs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of a nanofiber network within 3D printed scaffolds for vascularized bone regeneration

TL;DR: In this article, a 3D printed biodegradable poly (glycerol-co-sebacic acid-co l-lactic acid-polyethylene glycol) (PGSLP)-based scaffold that was internally filled with gelatin nanofibers and allowed the local release of deferoxamine (DFO), which is essential for angiogenesis and osteogenesis in bone regeneration.
Journal ArticleDOI

3D bioprinted gelatin/gellan gum-based scaffold with double-crosslinking network for vascularized bone regeneration.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors combined deferoxamine (DFO)-loaded ethosomes (Eth) with gelatin methacrylate (GelMA)/gellan gum methacelate (GGMA) hybrid bioink to fabricate 3D-printed scaffold by photo-and ion-crosslinking.
