Journal ArticleDOI

A sensitive and selective approach for detection of tetracyclines using fluorescent molybdenum disulfide nanoplates.

TL;DR: A novel molybdenum disulfide nanoplates (MoS2 NPs)-based fluorescent sensor for tetracycline (TET) is reported, which showed blue fluorescence at 430 nm in aqueous solution and was delineated for the detection of TET.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon quantum dot-based fluorometric nitrite assay by exploiting the oxidation of iron(II) to iron(III).

TL;DR: A simple and economical fluorescence method for the determination of nitrite by utilizing the fact that nitrite possesses strong oxidation in acidic solution and is capable to transform iron(II) into iron(III) ions, which exerts a strong fluorescence quenching effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diversely positive-charged gold nanoparticles based biosensor: A label-free and sensitive tool for foodborne pathogen detection

TL;DR: A label-free, non-paired antibodies dependent biosensor was constructed that possesses a desirable universality for other pathogens and generates signal and captures bacteria in the new LFS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visual and fluorescent detection of mercury ions using a dual-emission ratiometric fluorescence nanomixture of carbon dots cooperating with gold nanoclusters.

TL;DR: Under optimal conditions, this ratiometric fluorescent sensor could detect Hg2+ accurately and possess a great sensitivity with a detection limit of 63 nM, suggesting its potential in practical application with simplicity, environmentally friendly and low cost.
