NiCo2S4 porous nanotubes synthesis via sacrificial templates: high-performance electrode materials of supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this paper, a sacrificial template method based on the Kirkendall effect was used to synthesize NiCo2S4 porous nanotubes, which showed a specific capacitance of 1093 F g−1 at a current density of 0.2 A g− 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal synthesis of cobalt sulfide nanotubes: The size control and its application in supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of temperature on the evolution of this coarse shape nanostructure and analyze relationship between the sizes of cobalt sulfide nanotubes and the capacitive properties of active materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facilely synthesized α phase nickel–cobalt bimetallic hydroxides: Tuning the composition for high pseudocapacitance

TL;DR: In this article, a facile and novel precursor conversion method is successfully developed to grow Ni-Co hydroxides with α phase structure, which is robust and versatile enough to be employed to prepare α phase Ni−Co hydrides with similar interconnected flower-like nanostructures even at different Ni and Co contents.
